Ciccone suspended one game
Thurs. Nov. 12, 1998.

NEW YORK - Lightning defenseman Enrico Ciccone was suspended one game and fined $1,000 by the NHL on Thursday for elbowing Rangers center Marc Savard in Tuesday's 10-2 loss. Ciccone elbowed Savard at 7:33 of the first period and was assessed a minor penalty and a five-minute major for fighting after Rangers wing Adam Graves went after Ciccone to defend his teammate. "While no injury resulted on the play, Ciccone delivered an elbow to the back of the head of his opponent," said NHL senior VP and director of hockey operations Colin Campbell.
