Roche suspended for exhibition incident
Thursday, October 1, 1998 NEW YORK (CP) -- Left-winger Dave Roche of the Calgary Flames has been suspended for one game after a fighting incident in Wednesday night's game against Vancouver. Roche, who sat out Thursday night's game against Edmonton, was assessed a minor penalty in the game for instigating, a major penalty for fighting, a 10-minute misconduct and a game misconduct for leaving the players' bench. The game ended in a 3-3 tie.
