Sabres re-sign left wing Kruse
BUFFALO - The Buffalo Sabres re-signed rugged free agent left wing Paul Kruse to a multiyear contract, the team announced Wednesday, Aug. 12, 1998. Financial terms were not disclosed. Kruse, 28, had seven goals, nine points and 187 penalty minutes with the Sabres and New York Islanders last season. In 368 NHL games, he has 35 goals, 68 points and 912 penalty minutes with Calgary, the Islanders and Buffalo.
