Rangers' Beukeboom remains sidelined
Tues. Dec. 15, 1998.

NEW YORK - Jeff Beukeboom, still suffering from some degree of post-concussion syndrome, didn't feel as good Monday as he did Sunday, when he rode a stationary bike, which is a setback of sorts. There is no timetable set for his return. Beukeboom was originally injured by Matt Johnson's sucker-punch in Los Angeles Nov. 19, and had a fight with Nashville's Denny Lambert in his second game back, Nov. 29. He has missed the last three games. Todd Harvey, who sat out while serving his one-game suspension for attacking Buffalo's Vaclav Varada last Friday night, might not have played anyway due to a sore thumb he suffered in that same game. Harvey said he expects to play Wednesday against the Devils.
