Hawks, Habs swing 6-player deal
Tues. Nov. 17, 1998.

MONTREAL - The Canadiens dealt goaltender Jocelyn Thibault and defensemen Dave Manson and Brad Brown to Chicago on Monday for goalie Jeff Hackett and defensemen Eric Weinrich and Alain Nasreddine. Both clubs have been struggling recently. Thibault was drafted 10th overall by the Nordiques in 1993 and came to Montreal in the Patrick Roy deal in 1996. Hackett, who has been splitting netminding duties with Mark Fitzpatrick this year, is 2-6-1 this season with a goals-against average of 3.78 after an excellent 1997-98 season.
